Shipping Information

We ship from Mexico to the United States and Canada.

How your order is prepared

1.   You confirm your order with your Abarrot representative.

2.   Assembly: 1 to 3 business days for merchandise we have in stock. Special manufacturing orders take longer — see below.

3.   Photo approval. We send you a photo of your actual order — the real pieces, not catalog images — so you can confirm everything is correct before it is packed. Please review it carefully: once you approve the photo, we cannot accept claims about colors.

4.   Packing. Once you approve the photo, we pack your order.

5.   Shipping quote. Only once your order is packed can we measure its total dimensions and weight, so that is when we can quote your freight.

6.   Your nota. We send you the invoice with the total — merchandise plus freight.

7.   Payment and dispatch. We send you the available payment methods. No merchandise leaves the warehouse until the invoice total and the shipping advance have been received.

Shipping methods and tracking

Depending on the size and weight of your order, we ship by commercial carrier or by ground freight.

Commercial carriers (DHL, UPS, Estafeta). Your shipment gets a tracking number and you can follow it in real time.

Ground freight (trailer). Large orders move by ground freight, which is the cheaper option for volume. There is no tracking number and no real-time tracking on ground freight. We keep you informed of pickup and expected delivery, but you will not be able to follow the shipment yourself.

Payment note for ground freight. Orders shipped by ground freight cannot be paid through PayPal. PayPal does not recognize generic ground trailer freight as an official shipping company, so these shipments fall outside what PayPal covers. For ground freight orders, your Abarrot representative will confirm the available payment methods with you.

How we quote your shipping

Your Abarrot representative will bring you one shipping quote for your order, with the cost and the transit time. Before quoting you, we compare carriers and bring you the best price we found — if your freight is cheap, you buy more from us, so cheap freight is in our interest too.

If speed matters more than price for your order, tell us. The cheapest option is not always the right one: if you need the merchandise for an event, paying more for DHL Express and receiving it in 2 to 3 days may be worth far more to you than saving on freight. Let your representative know and we will quote the faster option.

Insurance

All merchandise we ship is insured against loss, including ground freight. If a shipment is delayed or lost, see our Refund Policy for how claims are handled.

Special manufacturing orders

Production orders are made to order and take 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of your order. They require 50% of the invoice total in advance; the remaining 50% is requested when your order is finished and we have sent you photo or video evidence of the complete order ready to ship.

As with stock orders, the shipping cost is not known until everything is packed. See our Refund Policy for the cancellation terms on production orders.
